Yes.. the much debated topic comes up as 4SQ CEO announces that they will reach 1 million users soon! Interestingly venues are still to come up with policies as to not let their employees checkin.. hence to cause a Mutiny at some of the most frequented venues in the World.. Read this WSJ Blog.

New stats released today by Twitter reveal that users now send out over 50 million tweets per day. That means every second, 600 tweets fly through Twitter’s network.

As we reported two weeks ago, Twitter saw more than 1.2 billion tweets in January, or around 39 million tweets per day. So much for people who said Twitter was NOT GROWING!
